When I mentioned--on the telephone--that the end seemed 'different' (or odd, or out of place) it wasn't the last sentence--'What an experience!--' that I was referring to but the idea just before that you'll always have such 'growth and change' (or, also, always fervently recall the present pace of change): I don't think so.
