Practicing “walking” with dad
A visit to dad at work
A new (to us), super awesome, new-fangeled stove! Soo, soo needed this long cold winter
Looking cute. I am always very proud of myself when I actually put together a cute outfit. Dressing girls is hard work!
Cuddling
This is when she had the flu. Soooooo sad.
The day Nora was diagnosed with the flu was also a snowday. Luckily conditions were bad enough to keep Brad home too. Joseph did have to entertain himself quite a bit though (which is not something that comes easily for him). He did an awesome job though and spent a lot of the day playing on his snowboard (a nice $7 Kinney’s find).
I was so impressed with his skills!
A couple days later he was sick of course too
The top of Joseph’s desk
Ready to play goalie!
Her devilish grin. This marked a major change for Nora: up until this point if you put her in the swing it was almost guaranteed that she would pass out and stay that way for a bit. Then, suddenly, it turned into play time and there was absolutely no sleeping any more. Very sudden change. Since we don’t have room for lots of baby items we passed it on to cousin Heather for her babe.
Lots of plowing this winter! (Brad purchased this tractor a couple years ago and almost never had to use it for plowing until this winter.)
Love the woods and our stone wall
On a walk with Joseph—looking towards our house
A birds nest we found
Such a big girl sitting up and playing!
Joseph’s hockey picture
Playing on her tummy—starting to roll around
Love this valentine for his teacher
Sitting in the cart! She LOVED it—she could smile and look at everyone. I don’t always do this though because of all the germs. I think it might have contributed to her getting the flu.
Ack. Sleeping babes: the cutest thing ever.
Last game of the season! Playing goalie
Sledding with cousins during February vacation (unfortunately a lot of times this winter it was so cold I couldn’t take Nora out, so often I had to watch from inside)
Date with my kiddos at the Indian restaurant
sledding with tanner
Nora and sissy playing
Playing video games with tanner
Adorable
Laser tag with Cole and Alyssa
And then swimming!
Church sledding party
And then making snowmen
Playing around with cousins
Sitting in a high chair at the half way house!
Visiting with Bob
6 month photos
(Funny thing was I was trying to get her to stop laughing so much so she would just give a smile, instead of an open mouth laugh, but there was no stopping her)
And, with her arm bandages from her failed trip to the hospital for blood draws. But of course, still smiling!

Good job!

There is not one picture of her that doesn't make me smile and say "awww!". And I'm so impressed with all the activities that you get done with a baby and this crummy winter we've had. Looks like Joseph's got a great sledding hill :)
Hey, I enjoyed my two visits with your family this week, But both times Nora didn't smile all that much--she did some--and I believed until now she was supposed to smile all the time. Can you get her back to where she smiles all the time? I even heard her yell once!
Best,
Bob
So. Stinkin. Cute. And can't believe how busy you have been!! Good for you enjoying the winter! LOVE the pic of Joseph and Nora on the tummy mat. That is the sweetest! Great pictures :)
