Grandfather Bob and I took Joseph to see Circus Smirkus this year and it was AMAZING! Circus Smirkus is a traveling circus comprised of young performers and they completely blew all of us away. Joseph adored it just as much as Bob and I. I used to watch them when I was young and it was such a treat to get to see them again.

Another performer of whom I have very fond memories is Tom Verner. I just love sharing these memories with Joseoh. We got to see him perform at this years Festival-on-the-green (a week of four free performances a day in Middlebury).
We spend a lot of time in the summer messing around with the neighbors grandkids (they come to their grandparents two days a week) especially in their awesome pool!

And camping 2012! Started off with a bang. Seriously. A HUGE storm. We played cards while it poured and then weathered thunder and lightening during the night. I even got scared and made Joseph sit in the car with me for a bit, while he threw a fit cause no one else was as wimpy. I do seem to get wimpier as I get older.
After that it was all sunshine! Much better.
A huge highlight was our neightboors. Why? Cause there were two families, each with five kids! Heaven for Joseph. Amazing to me (dads visited once, but mostly 2 moms and 10 kiddos).
