Brad goes to Burlington 6 days a week to work. I make it up there a couple of times a year. This was one visit. We toured the house Brad was building then.
Opening presents and Grandma and Grandpa. He has gotten so much use out of those water guns!
Turning 7!
Aw-sleeping baby
Baseball practice. Baseball is one of Joseph’s favorite sports, and has been so much fun in past years. We still had fun with it this year, but it was also frustrating because the coaches were not very dedicated.
Playing at the library one Saturday when she came with me to work. I was nervous but it went really well. (It would not work at all now!)
Joseph is a huge reader. Sometimes I have to tell him to stop reading.
Picking fiddleheads
I seem to like taking pictures of Nora sleeping
Our family bday party!
It’s mostly a party for Joseph, but Brad and I do have bdays right around then so maybe we count to? Just kidding. Mostly;y it’s just fun to have a party!
Lots of yummy food, if I do say so myself. Of course my carrot cake doesn't look that great next to Debbie's pumpkin cake, but they all tasted great. Bob’s strawberry/rhubarb was a big hit as well!
Loved the boys playing soccer! Thanks to Louis—I don’t have that kind of energy.
Bb gun
First grade field trip to the petting farm. Everyone seemed to really enjoy it! Well maybe the animals not quite as much.
Awww.
So cute.
The boys were all super into the chickens. They were naming them and everything. They really wanted to take them home, so the lady who worked at the barn said, “Well, you can have them, you just have to keep them here.” The boys were very excited.
Joseph also spent a long time with the goats. It was nice to see Joseph be able to sit calmly and focus on the animals for a long time.
Picnic
First grade class, plus one little sister.
They wrote all the chickens names and nicknames down to post on the door.
First successful piece. It took a lot of tries, but was worth it!
